Get the Right Care, First Time

We use Engage Consult to help ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional for their needs.

You can access Engage Consult through the link on our website and submit a query or request about your health concern. A clinician will review the information provided and assess the most appropriate next step.

This may include:

  • Advice and self-care guidance
  • A GP appointment
  • A Practice Pharmacist consultation
  • Physiotherapy services
  • Another member of the healthcare team
  • Referral to an appropriate service

This approach helps us provide the right care, at the right time, from the right professional.

How to Submit a Request

Online

The quickest and easiest way to contact us is through Engage Consult.

Simply click the Engage Consult link on above, or on our homepage and complete the online form. A clinician will review your request and determine the most appropriate course of action.

By Telephone

If you are unable to access the online form, a member of our team can complete an Engage Consult request on your behalf.

Please call the practice on 0345 337 1190 during the following times:

Routine Requests

  • 10:00am to 2:00pm
  • 3:30pm to 5:00pm
Our administrative team will ask a series of questions that have been agreed by our clinical team and submit the information for clinical review.

Urgent On-the-Day Requests

If you feel your problem requires urgent attention on the same day, please telephone the practice during the following times:

  • 8:00am to 10:00am
  • 2:00pm to 3:30pm

Our administrative team will ask a series of questions that have been agreed by our clinical team. This information helps us assess the urgency of your request and ensures patients receive care according to clinical need.

Please answer these questions as fully as possible so that we can prioritise requests safely and appropriately.

Important Information

  • Submitting a request does not automatically result in a GP appointment.
  • Patients will be directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional or service for their needs.
  • If you are unable to use online services, our team can assist by completing a request on your behalf.

Medical Emergencies

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 24

NHS 24 online is for people aged 5 and over.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond (please be advised this may incur a longer wait time)
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone or face-to-face
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs

Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
